Deconstructed cabbage rolls

I love, love, love cabbage rolls but I only make them once a year because they do take a bit of time to make. If you feel the same way about them, then you will enjoy this recipe!

This deconstructed cabbage roll recipe uses all of the same delicious ingredients as the conventional cabbage rolls but is cooked in layers in a slow cooker. Put it together in the morning and enjoy coming home to supper, ready for you!

Ingredients: 1 head of cabbage, chopped 1 lb of sausage 1 lb of ground meat 1 cup of chopped onion 2 large eggs, beaten 1/2 cup fresh parsley 3/4 cup brown rice 2-4 tbsp brown sugar 1 cup of broth 1 cup of water 1 14oz can of tomato sauce 1 cup sour cream
